San Francisco: Chat GPT, which has killed thousands of people, also swallowed the job of its CEO, Sam Altman.

According to a foreign news agency, the board of directors of ChatGPT maker OpenAI on Friday abruptly fired Sam Altman as the company’s CEO and director.

Founder Greg Brockman has also stepped down as president of OpenAI following Sam Altman’s ouster.

38-year-old Sam Altman, who raised the value of artificial intelligence firm OpenAI from zero to $90 billion, revolutionized the world of artificial intelligence by creating a Chat GPT bot.

OpenAI said in its statement that the board of directors decided to remove Altman after losing confidence in his ability to lead the company.

The statement said his dismissal was made after a thorough review because Sam was consistently unclear in his communications with the board, which led to the board not being able to properly discharge its responsibilities.

OpenAI says the company will conduct a regular search for a new CEO, but Chief Technology Officer Meera Moratti will serve as interim CEO until a permanent CEO is appointed.
