The Board of Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced the list of performers for the closing ceremony before the final between India and Australia.

Ahead of the match scheduled at the Narendra Modi Cricket Stadium on Sunday, the official broadcaster of the mega event had earlier hinted in a tweet that

Bollywood actress Dua Lipa could perform at the closing ceremony, but the Indian board has removed her name.

The closing ceremony of the World Cup is divided into 4 different categories, in the first ceremony the Surya Karan Aerobatic Team of the Indian Air Force will conduct an airshow followed by a toss.

The first innings break will feature Aditya Gadhvi’s performance of Coke Studio India’s viral song.

In the innings break, there will be a long program in which composer Pritam Chakraborty, singer Junita Gandhi, Naqash Aziz, Amit Mishra, Akasa Singh and Tushar Joshi will perform, while a laser and light show will be organized in the stadium during the second innings break.

Indian Air Force to conduct airshow before World Cup final match

Reports are claiming that Narendra Modi and Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albany or his deputy came to the stadium to watch the final.

On the other hand, a day before the World Cup Final 2023, the Indian Cricket Board (BCCI) has invited the former captains of all the teams, but Imran Khan, the captain of the Pakistan team in 1992, has refused to participate due to personal reasons.
