An American girl has set a Guinness World Record by performing 38 magic tricks underwater for three minutes.

13-year-old Avery Emerson Fisher made this record by going to the tunnel tank of the Aquarium of the Bay in San Francisco, California.

Avery Emerson broke the record held by British magician Martin Rees in 2020 by performing 38 magic tricks in three minutes by diving. The British magician held this record by performing 20 tricks in three minutes.

Avery Emerson holds 12 scuba diving certifications and has dived in the ocean more than 30 times.

She said she hopes her record will spread awareness among people to protect the oceans.
