Pleasant Hill Elementary
Pleasant Hill Elementary is a newly constructed elementary school that opened its doors in the fall of 2008. The school is located in a residential neighborhood in south St. Louis. The school is within walking distance of many local businesses and recreational opportunities. Making it an ideal place for students. The school is committed to providing a safe and nurturing environment for students and staff. Building on the success of its predecessor, Pleasant Hill Elementary is committed to providing a high-quality education for all of its students.
Pike County Conference Tournament Schedule
Hill Junior High hosts the Pike County Conference Basketball Tournament. This year, both the 7th and 8th-grade teams will compete in the tournament during the same week at Pleasant Hill High School. The tournament starts on Saturday 3rd December 2022 and ends on Saturday 10th December 2022. Seeding will take place the week of November 21-25, and a detailed schedule will be available the week of November 28. The general schedule is below Pike County Conference Tournament Schedule.

Pleasant Hill High School Announces First Quarter Honor Roll and Perfect Attendance

What are your plans for the week?
I have so many plans for the week! I’m going to work, then go to the gym, then go to my friend’s house for dinner, and then go to bed.

I really enjoy going to school and spending time with my friends. I also enjoy playing on the playground and going to the lunchroom.

What is your favorite subject at Pleasant Hill Elementary?
Math is a subject I love! Learning new ideas and being able to apply them to solve problems is incredibly exciting to me. I also enjoy science subjects, especially biology and earth science. I am excited to learn about both of these subjects this year!
What is your favorite thing to eat at Pleasant Hill Elementary?
My favorite thing to eat at Pleasant Hill Elementary is pizza. I love how they make it fresh and the crust is really delicious.
Text messaging is a new way for Pleasant Hill Elementary and High School students to communicate.
November is the month of gratitude, and this month I’m thankful for the ability to communicate with the school community in a new way – by text. Messages! Our school has used the School Messenger communication service for many years to send “All Calls” to our community. Now we are going to use the same service to communicate via text messaging! During the month of November, Pleasant Hill School District will run an opt-in campaign asking if you would like to receive text notifications about events, school, and more. . .
After school, what do you enjoy doing the most?
I absolutely love spending time outside of school with my family and friends! I love going to the park, going for walks, playing video games, and just spending time together.
What are your favorite things to do at school?
I really enjoy my homework and chatting with my friends at mealtimes. I also really enjoy reading textbooks and doing research for my classes. In the summer, I love hiking and exploring new places.
What do you most enjoy doing after school?
I enjoy hanging out with my pals after school. We usually go to a nearby park or go shopping. Spending time with them and getting to know them better is something I really appreciate.
ISBE Releases Summary Rankings and School Report Cards
Dear Community, The Illinois State Board of Education released overall school rankings on Monday, October 24. I am pleased to report that both Pleasant Hill High School and Pleasant Hill Elementary School have been designated as Schools of Commendation. ! What do you like to do best on Saturdays and Sundays?
I absolutely love spending my weekends out with my friends! We’ll usually be hiking, biking, or just taking in the scenery. I also love to cook and try new recipes, so I’ll usually spend my weekends in the kitchen baking or cooking.
What are your favorite things about Pleasant Hill Elementary?
I also love the community feel of the school and the fact that everyone is always willing to help or give advice. I appreciate everything about Pleasant Hill Elementary, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a great school!
